My Practice
I deliver person-centred psychotherapy online and over the phone, on Fridays. I work with individuals over the age of 18.

I charge £40 per session which is payable by bank transfer. If you need a discount, please ask, and I will do my best to accommodate!

Sessions are 50 minutes long and held weekly. The amount of sessions you have is completely up to you.

I offer a 20-30 minute consultation which is free of charge. This is for you to decide if I am a good 'fit' for you, and for me to make sure I have the knowledge and skills to support you properly.

Whatever you share in sessions is confidential - I will not share it with anyone except in the following circumstances:
-
I am attending supervision. This is a requirement for me to work as a therapist, and my supervision sessions are also confidential.
-
I have serious concerns about you or another person. In this case I would alert the relevant people to prevent harm. I would always discuss this with you first if the circumstances allowed.
-
I am legally required to share information, for example to prevent terrorism or money laundering.
The Person-Centred Approach
I work with a person-centred approach because it aligns with my ethical and political views. It also has a broad and long-standing evidence base.

Person-centred therapy is underpinned by a philosophy that each person is the expert in their own life, their own distress, and their own flourishing. As a result, person-centred therapy tends to be non-directive. That means it is up to the client to set the agenda; I do not make a treatment plan, set homework, or diagnose my clients. I just aim to create a safe space in which you can be completely seen and heard as your authentic self.
